The Blue Door - A Luxury Homestay in Dehradun

The Blue Door is a truly luxurious homestay and highly recommended for anyone looking for a break away from the daily hustle & bustle of everyday city life. Located between Dehradun & Massorie, the short nature walk to the mountains & river offers the serenity that helps you connect with nature. The accommodation was extremely clean and spacious and aesthetically & tastefully decorated. Staff were extremely hospitable & helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. They also cooked us breakfast by the river which was a very unique experience. All meals were very delicious! Special call-out to the staff there Rakesh, Bhuvan & Dhyaan Chand and others. Thank you for looking after us so well!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Blue Door, and I must say it was a truly WOW experience. Kavita Ji, the gracious host, went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. This charming venue proved to be an ideal getaway for friends, families, and even smaller destination weddings. The entrance, marked by a distinctive blue door, is not just a gateway but a photo-worthy spot that gives the property its name. Upon stepping inside, I was welcomed by a beautiful array of unique plants, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The people at The Blue Door are incredibly helpful and caring, adding a personal touch to the overall experience. The property boasts a total of five suites, and I had the privilege of staying in the Legend Kapil Dev's room. The room was nothing short of spectacular, offering breathtaking views. What stood out the most was the soothing sound of the nearby river, creating a connection with nature that is hard to find elsewhere. Upon request, I had the opportunity to enjoy lunch at the river point, an experience that left me in awe. The level of cleanliness, hospitality, and the quality of food surpassed that of any 5-star hotel. Special mention goes to Kavita, who was awarded the Best Host by MakeMyTrip in 2023. Her dedication and warmth added immensely to the overall charm of The Blue Door. After this remarkable stay, I can confidently say that I will never choose another place for my stay in Dehradun. I wholeheartedly recommend The Blue Door to everyone seeking a memorable and unparalleled experience. I look forward to returning in the future and extend my heartfelt thanks to The Blue Door for such an amazing hospitality.

The more I write the lesser it would be that's what The Blue Door Luxury homestay and their host Ms. Kavita ji is. I went there with my family and friends and we stayed for two days, the experience was something that cannot be expressed in words. you have to feel that experience. The food, activities , location everything was 10 on 10. Overall We loved the property and people both. Hopefully will visit again soon.

Had an amazing & memorable time! The entire place is so aesthetic & beautiful, every little corner is fabulous. The food, staff, experiences are absolutely worth it. Our river picnic with Biryani in the river was once in a lifetime experience.Special thanks to the chef for prepping the food according to our dietary restrictions. And big thanks to Rakesh for taking such good care of us. Kavita is a fabulous host. Must visit with family & friends!
